The surgery is now open between 8.30am and 6pm on weekdays as normal, although we remain closed between 6 & 7pm, and on saturday mornings.

We are still not not doing routine consultations, vaccinations, nail clipping etc, although we are now starting to do a limited number of routine neutering and puppy vaccinations.

Social distancing is still very important, so the information below still stands - only one person to bring your pet into the surgery, where possible; please wait outside if there are people inside until you are called, etc.

We hope to be able to increase the services we offer over ther next few weeks, but this will depend on the situation as it continues to unfold.

Due to staff shortages and the current government advice regarding the coronavirus, the surgery will be closed between 12pm & 3.30pm and 6pm to 7pm each weekday for at least the next 3 weeks. We are also closed on saturday mornings.

If you need to speak to us urgently during these hours, then please ring the surgery on 07529 220501.

If you require repeat medications for your pets then please ring us between 8.30am - 12pm, or 3.30pm - 6pm.

We are open for URGENT CONSULTATIONS ONLY as normal, between 9am - 11am and 4pm - 6.30pm.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Coronavirus Update, 17th March 2020

We are taking Coronavirus very seriously, and have taken some steps to try and reduce the spread of the virus in the surgery.

  • If you have a fever, cough, sore throat or difficulty breathing, or are in contact with anyone who does, please avoid coming to the surgery.
  • In order to comply as best we can with the government's strategy of social distancing, can we please ask that only one person brings your pet into the surgery. If this is not possible, we would ask that any accompanying person remains outside the surgery during your visit.
  • We are postponing ALL non-urgent consultations for the time being - routine vaccinations, health checks, nail clips etc.
  • There is an alcohol-based hand sanitiser on the reception desk, and we ask that you use some of this as soon as you come into the surgery. If you need to wash your hands with soap, please feel free to ask a member of staff.
  • We would prefer all payments to be made by card rather than cash, as advised by the WHO.
  • We are increasing the time interval between patients to reduce the number of people in the surgery at any one time, and high-use surface areas and equipment are being regularly disinfected to try and minimise any contamination.
  • Should members of staff become infected, then it is possible that the surgery may have to close. To prevent this happening, we are doing our best to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus, so that we can remain open and continue treating the patients who depend on us. Please bear with us, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
