Veterinary Surgeon

John Spitzer BVSc BSc (Hons) MRCVS
John qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 1996
at The University of Australia. He moved to
England in 2002 and worked in various small
animal practices before deciding to set up his
own surgery.

He now strives at providing a quality and caring service to both his clients and their pets.

John lives locally with his wife Hannah and 2 cats Ozzie and Alice.

 

Veterinary Nurse

Ali Stollery RVN - Head Veterinary Nurse
Ali began Veterinary Nurse training in 1998
after completing 3 years of Animal Care at the Berkshire College of Agriculture. She qualified
as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002. Ali has previously worked in 2 large Veterinary Hospitals before
joining Family Friends in February 2007.

Ali is also qualified as an A1 assessor for the
RCVS nurse training scheme and is currently completing a course in Puppy Training.

Outside of work Ali lives with her boyfriend, her Labrador Poppy and 3 cats Moley, Molly and Elsa.

 

Receptionists

Kelly Gibbs - Head receptionist
Kelly has been with Family Friends since opening
in October 2006 and spends her days managing
the busy role of reception and dealing with clients both in house and over the telephone.

Kelly always offers a friendly welcome and strives
to meet the requirements of all of our clients.

Kelly is currently completing a part time course in Business Management at Bucks New University.

 

Wendy Magain-Shah
Wendy has been working part time covering the
odd shift since the surgery opened. Wendy's main job is working as an Air Hostess for British Airways.

Wendy lives locally with her husband and 3 cats.
